Klipsch Heresy or wait

We are building a new Family room/Home theater. Everything is coming in over budget. Originally budgeted for Paradigm Studio 60's(front), CC-570's(center)and Seismic 10(sub). Almost $4,000. I have a pair of Klipsch Heresy spekers sitting around. I can use them as fronts, then spend $2,000 more using the following Klipsch speakers:RC-35(center) RS-35(sourronds) and RSW-10(sub).

My question is should I go this route or continue with the sytem I have: Paridigm Titan's(front), CC-170(center), Def Tech Pro Monitor 80's(sourronds) and a Def Tech Pro Sub 80(sub).

Chances are we will probally move out of California in @ 5 years. Then with the equity we have in this place, there won'nt be to many budget constraints.

Thanks for any help or advice that anyone can give, thegreenline

I think waiting would serve you best. If you get to do this all over again in 5 years you can accumulate one heck of a budget for a HT. Moving all of that audio gear will be a pain in the butt. I know 5 years is a long way off, but the Paradigms you have make a really nifty HT package. I was over at someone's house who uses Titans up front along with a cc170. He has Atom rears though. For a small/medium room these are a great speakers to have. Moving with a bunch of bookshelf speakers and a nice little sub will be much easier than packing up those 60's and the seismic. Additionally since you seem to want to build equity you could offer to include the Paradigm/Deftech system you have now with the home and bump your asking price by a grand or 2. It would be a pretty big WOW factor for potential buyers to get to demo a nice HT.

That's my .02.

How about a pair of Mini-Monitors up front and the 370CC then move the Titans to surround duty? Sell the rest and buy a Hsu or SVS sub.

Another suggestion for similar performance to the Studio 60(outside of bottom end extension) set-up at half the price is Ascend Acoustics. 340s across the front with 170 surrounds and a Hsu VTF-3 or similar SVS should come in right under $2k. For more info on Ascend Acoustics go to the Ascend Forum.
