It depends when your sixes were made. The later models woofers were attached with screws into the cabinet. The earlier models were actually part of the cabinet itself somehow and IIRC you cannot remove them without doing some destruction.
If your asking this question im guessing you have the earlier model. Try Audiokarma.org, There are quite a few people with those speakers around there and may know a way to remove the woofer.
