I am not even going to go into the "Do you like Klipsch xxx model better than xxx" debate. I know that I like the Klipsch sound, clarity etc. A lot don`t. My questions are based on this: Good customer service company? Build quality? Good materials? You get the idea. Non subjective matters. Are Klipsch (reference series...52 or 62) a high quality product? Of course my local salseman raves and calls the reference line "world class". My question is exactly how much is he exaggerating?

I have seen the Klipsch Ref line close and did listen to them.
Since you like the sound I will comment only about the look(s) and to me they (the RF series) look less compelling than other speakers at price point .
Klipsch in my opinion is using the name they created earlier but now they don't build killer products like they used to. Of course is not remotely as bad as Bose who builds crap but bang for the buck in quality Klipsch are not what they used to be.
Now regarding customer experience with the company - I don't know (none of my friends have Klipsch) BUT it is a lot more important to know the service experience of other people with your dealer... Always the local guy makes a huge difference.
One thing I like in the RF series is the mid/woofer driver(s); the cabinet is not that good (poor finish and booms when played lowd) and the feet are ordinary plastic if I remember correctly.

In the past klipsch has had a good reputation for standing behind their products. My friends father had an original pair of Cornwalls that they updated for him for only the shipping costs. These things were like 15 or 20 years old at the time. I had a set of their towers some years back and they replaced a blown woofer no questions asked. Those have been my experiences in past, but how they are now I don't know for sure.

One of my RF-82 magnetic grills had a magnet that didn't work pretty much right out of the box. I emailed Klipsch, they told me to go through my dealer (Magnolia). Magnolia said they couldn't do anything so I remailed Klipsch who sent me out a new grille.

Take from that what you will, I personally like klipsch customer service but not Magnolia's, they should have taken care of it.

I have Klipsch across my front, RB-61's and an RC-51, and am very happy with them.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Klipsch. I've owned several models.

As far as your questions go, the reference line is built really well. They use good crossover components, the cabinets are well braced, and the drivers seem to be of high quality. The compression drivers in the Ref line are far superior to the drivers in their lower pp products. They are built as well as any other mass produced loudspeaker afaic in similar price point. World class? thats pretty subjective. They are nice speakers.

I have a set of RF35's and I love them. I think they are great speakers.
