Well, I had to try:


A HDD with a mountain of things went to Tobruk and the guys were asking 350$ to retrieve the data. I tried to swap the heads. Now I have two corrupt HDD's.

The best approach is usually a USB HDD docking station. If that won't work, you are likely done on that HDD.
