Hello everyone. I have here two Kenwood power amplifiers. I am trying to find info on these amps. They are a Kenwood KM-106,and Kenwood KM-207 , both power amplifiers.

Does anyone have any info on the power output (WPC)? I have heard 100 watts rms wpc, 125 watts rms wpc, 150 watts rms wpc. Can someone help me please? I am in the market to purchase some good speakers for these , first off having the specs of the amp(s) would help , then some advice in recommending medium price range speakers if possible. Please help if you can!
Thanks in advance , Peter

My research shows the 106 - 125W & 207 - 200W. Are the speakers for HT or music use? Polks and Infinitys are on sale now for great discount. How much are you looking to spend on the speakers?

.....Walter, AVRat don't play, he's always right on the mark....it indeed looks like the 106 boasts 125 watts a channel at 8, and 200 a channel at 4....the 207 has 200 watts per channel at 8, and "probably" right at 300 a channel at 4, it has A and B binding posts, so we know you can parallel....my Japanese is a little rusty on that "probably"....so, you can go with either 8 or 4 ohm speakers, and, you could even parallel two sets of 8 ohm speakers on either amp for a total of 8, 8 ohm speakers on both amps filling the room....older Kenwood was very good stuff, imo....the amps should be very clean and do a good job for you.......

I just picked up a KM 207 for $10.00 at a garage sale & it rocks my Klipsch RB15's!
New guy here. Looks like a pretty good forum.
