I am having trouble with my Kenwood receiver. I moved and now my receiver is stuck in "standby" mode. I held down the power button and unplugged the unit. I then plugged it back in while holding the power on button and it came on, but it is still stuck on standby and Video 2 and will not change to tuner, CD, or Video 1. It will not even increase volume with or without remote. If someone could help me with this problem, I would appreciate it deeply. Thank you.

Check your speaker wiring for shorts (a speaker wire touching anotherspeaker wire). These can cause problems and cause a unit to go into a "protection mode". Perhaps this is similar. If you find one and correct it, perhaps the unit will correct itself when you reset it.

If there are no shorts or the unit doesn't correct itself afteer tou remove them, then it may be service/replacement time.
