WTF, Keith Emerson of ELP died today. Cause of death, shotgun to the head, suicide!

This is sad news and just goes to show you how many people are suffering from untreated mental health issues. He likely took his life b/c he couldn't cope with his inability to play keyboards like he used to due to physical disabilities. I grew up with ELP as one of my major musical influences.

Keith you will be missed. Now excuse me while I go listen to Works Vol I on Vinyl and contemplate this loss.

With that being known, I'll never hear "Lucky Man" the same way again.

Wow! I just listened to "Come And See The Show" a couple of days ago. I really liked them, despite the typical criticism of Prog Rock bands that they endured.

So sad.

After checking my database the ONLY EL&P tune I have is "Lucky Man". On vinyl, Superstars of the 70's, Warner Special Products 4 LP set. Time to visit the local used record stores. :(
