For sale I have a pair of Kef Q1 bookshelf speakers.

Here is Kef's information on the Q1: http://www.kef.com/gb/about/museum

15 - 120w - 2 way bass reflex
Range: 45 Hz - 27 kHz ±3 dB
Sensitivity: 91 dB
Impedance 8 Ohms

13.8 lbs Magnetically shielded

These speakers are in perfect working order and very pretty. I have the foam-plugs in the ports in these photos, but they can be just pulled out depending on which sound you prefer. The UniQ driver (with the tweeter in the center of the midrange) give excellent point-source imaging: especially important if you are physically very close to your speakers.

There's nothing more than minor scuffing at the edges (see pictures). The grills are in perfect shape.

I can take PayPal if you'd like to pay by CC. $120 + actual shipping.

Did you actually get 45hz with those? Those are good lookin, what are you getting to replace them.

They are even prettier than the pictures make them out to be: I was really impressed with the esthetics. I did not hook them up to an SPL meter, so cannot comment on how well they pulled 45Hz. The ratings are from the manufacturer.

I chose to use a pair of PSBs instead. The KEFs were brighter, better projecting, and I love the single-point sound (these are on a desk and about 2' from my ear), but the PSBs sound more full.

I would have loved to keep them as surrounds in my HT, but they cannot compete with the $2k 'digm S2s, and I don't have room to add a subwoofer at the PC where they were hooked up... so they had to go to make room for the next toy.

I'm hoping to find a speaker that combines the best of the Q1 and PSB (perhaps the Kef RQ line). I will say that I've become enamored of the UniQ-style driver for "really close to my ear" speakers.
