hey.. soo my friend's family who im helping out setup their HT system wants a karaoke sytem, anyone have any ideas of a decently priced one that I can just hookup to my Denon 3806 ??

You are better off with one of these "magic mics". You can just plug them into your receiver and you're good to go. They have thousands of songs in memory so you don't have to buy CD's. If you get tired of the 3 or 6 thousand songs they have, you can update the memory. Some even let you download songs from the web. I have a nice set at home. I'll check to see what brand they are. I know this post is a little late but I have a Vidabox media center HTPC system and I ordered it with this preinstalled karaoke package. The package came with this great wireless mike with all the songs preinstalled in the system. All I have to do is pick a song from the provided song book and then select it from the menu using my remote control. It is really easy and I get all the other great features of a media center system.

I'm extremely happy with it.
