Just picked up another deal at a pawn shop, a near mint JVC RX-D202 with remote control. I really must say I am impressed with the SQ from it. I haven't done any in depth critical listening yet, but so far no harsh highs or weak bass. The fact it weighs 15 pounds is nice if you move things around as much as I do. I took a peak inside the receiver, pretty clean layout but overall pretty inexpensive looking as far as receivers go. It is after all, an inexpensive receiver. It does basically everything I need aside from upconversion to component from other inputs.
(it is note worthy that this receiver has only two digital inputs coax and optical, nothing a switcher can't fix.)
