(Mule you like JVC, so heres kinda some rambling on a used one I just picked up)

This post is just me rambling......

Humm, just picked this up off eBay (60.00) for my mother. She needed another DD receiver. Onkyo was sold over this one.
Clearly, I have to test it for her, and do some set-up.
But I brought it to my house for this....
I have to say, I have only played with it about 1 hour, but I'm quite impressed (lot of EQ modes).
3 digital inputs, super easy to use remote for trimming each speaker (C,RR,LR & SW)
Clearly no where near as good as my Pioneer 1015tx, but it easily beats out the Onkyo (TX-DS474) which was a DD & DTS capable reciever. Also it beats out my other Sony (STR-D711, however this is just Pro Logic).
This JVC, seems very musical friendly..... Only tried 1 movie at this point...
The JVC is rated at I think 125x5. Yea its only a 5.1 but thats all she is set-up for, and all she needs. (It also has Zone 2)
This thing has some decent weight, and is in very good shape.

Basically for those looking for a budget DD receiver, and on a budget.
There are still quiet a few like this that can be had at bargain prices.
Just shop around on eBay. Hopefully you will get lucky....
