Hi
Can anyone help me with this overload problem? I have the unit open. I replaced two bad resistors r915 and r916 both 8.2 ohms. It worked for a week then now it shut off. I disconnected all speakers now I get "OVERLOAD" on screen.

Start with doing a factory reset. Then check all your speaker wires, for chews, fray's etc.

It shutdown while speakers were attached, correct ? Then when you disconnected them and tried to repower the receiver it went into protection, correct ?

So if you had some chewed or frayed wires touching causing the shutdown and therefore sending it into protect mode. It may simple need to have a factory reset done to take it out of protection. Your manual should tell you how to perform a reset. I can't help on that because im not to familiar with JVC units.

The system was connected to speakers. It would come then shut off after 3-4 seconds an go-to to standby mode. No over load at this point. I took the speakers off then opened the unit and found two burned opened resistors on the amp board. Now power it up and it clicks on the I get overload on the front readout. Thanks. I'll check manual for a factory reset.

Cajunboy, All I can find is the following.
Factory reset- unplug for at least 30 min. Then when you plug back in Hold power button for 5 to 10 seconds
It should then perform a factory rest, if you then still show overload and see no obvious problems when the unit is opened up. Start with checking the Output power transistors.
