JVC FS-V30 tape deck wont open

I have an old JVC FS-V30 stereo system. It is actually really cool. The problem is that everything works but the tape deck wont open. Can someone please help

We can't possibly help you at long range, other than to tell you to disassemble the unit to find the problem and correct it. If it needs a part you will be out of luck I suspect.
