Generally speaking, rear projection televisions are usually piss-poor with computer signals. Scan lines & refresh rates, and most commonly, just piss-poor PC handling are issues with many CRT sets. You really will want to check the owners manual out and this set out in person if you are looking for PC connectivity. Some rear projection CRTs don't even allow any type of PC hookup. You may luck out with the DVI connection, but I wouldn't bet $1,300 on it - I would get the owners manual and find out for sure.
Generally a lot of the LCD & DLP rear/front projection products work better as computer monitors, as well as plasma & LCD flat panel displays.
This one may work and accept the PC resolutions you want, but definitely do some more homework on it before you buy if this is an important feature for you.
