If I had a drink at my lips this would have been a spit take.

That's awesome. That's really all it is. Just slow down and do some research. Glad you're learning stuff. The impulse buy is strong within some of us, lol.

Even a bad sub, or weak is better than no sub at all. All depends what you are trying to achieve with it. A 50 watt sub, that'll peak 100 can still be used as a fill-in for the low end and give your tower or bookshelf's better sound stage reproduction. Now will it blow the dust off the walls, or feel the thumping on your chest. No it won't.

You wouldn't be the first to say, being married with a family wife and children. There once was a TV show called, "Married", with children or was it kids? Anyways you'll eventually run into ADTG, aka, AudioRX. If you haven't already. He's married with children, he has no life either. :p;). But for some reason, he finds things to do, much better than most on AH. Dude's a pharmacist in a big hospital, a family man, also a dealer, of audio/video gear. Plus in his, what spare time he does have. He has been known to dress up as a Ninja, to go to war with some nasty wasps ness. He once told me in a text he started out with a pair of Bose speakers and a Technics AVR. ;):p

You must be thinking of Darth Vader? With those new subs you have, you should definitely feel the force! LMAO. Just make sure, you don't let one of your kids sit on one of those subs. Or one of your cats or dogs if you have pets. o_ODefinitely don't let your wife sit on one she may never sleep in the same bed again.;):p:cool:

Yea I dont need to blow dust off the wall. I just need a little more bass than the rp280fs provide which the r10swi does a good job for me, so I think Ill just keep it ansave my money. maybe if I ever think I need better , Ill do something about it then. I find things to do mostly around the house, Right now I'm refinishing my tv stand, and adding some art work to the glass doors, well Im changing them to Plexiglas an transfering photo copys of art work on to the Plexiglas, gives a very cool effect. Thank for the help.

Just think if you could find a sub, shaped like the Death Star? ;) Think about it for a second, say your watching Star Wars return of the Jedi, when Darth Vader:mad: blew up that Moon. Your Death Star subwoofer would shoot out a laser light:eek: that would hit you in the chest at the same time the Sub rattle the windows and floor. o_O:eek::pHow cool would that be!! SVS has a sub that's tall round cylinder type of a Sub. I sent in a email asking why they just don't, make it rounder, think special edition, :D even sent in a photo of that Death Star from Star wars. :pAs you would guess all I got back was, this in a email from their marketing department..it was like this..????WTF?. and a big :) emoji..:D , an example of audiophile, humor. Some would say another example would be (one who sells a car to buy a turntable). :DEnjoy! :D
