Just pre-ordered a Nationite S:Flo2 16GB!

Damn it. Forever I've been trying to save up some money to buy building supplies for my sub, but I figured today was my last opportunity to get the s.flo at the sale price. I guess I'll be broke for 2 weeks longer than I had planned =(

Yes, it's october 18th and they said they won't sell it for $160 after October 15th... but they forgot to update it so how much I paid!

Suffice to say, I'm rather excited. I also ordered checked the "leather case and brainwavez 2 IEMs" for $40.. I've heard very good things about the brainwavez so thesse may in fact be the first IEMs that I like. This thing's supposed to play all kinds of lossless codecs, has one of the cleanest dedicated lineouts in a player, and a strong HP amp section that can drive many high impedance headphones rather loud with supposedly great SQ. I'm currently using a 4GB sony walkman as my mp3 player, which doesn't support lossless and can get kind of muddy, and doesn't drive my HPs quite loud enough for comfort in a noisy environment. I am trading 45 hours of battery life for around 10, though.

Without going into further detail on why I got this, I'll just say that owning an iPod isn't my cup of tea...this is not an ipod clone, btw. It looks similar, but it has its differences. What they are, I couldn't tell you, as I don't know. I own an 8GB Ipod Nano that I got as a gift a year ago and it doesn't have a single song on it. Why? Who knows why. Maybe it's some deep identity issue.
