My room is about 1126 ft^3... should I be worried about it breaking stuff?

That's why there's a volume control :D

Only your back. Lift with your legs.

I have a 20-39 PCi in a 1500 ft^3 room and it vibrates everything that is not nailed down at a little over 1/3 on the master volume. It rattles the door in its frame and it feels like the drywall is flexing, kinda like that one scene toward the end of the original Matrix where Neo flexes and bends the walls.

I think you may need to consider increasing your homeowner's insurance. You may cause structural damage if you turn this puppy past 1/2.

And by the way, I'm a believer that overkill in a sub is never a bad thing. That extra headroom is good to have.

Enjoy!

Wow, I have a smaller room, and I got the PC+ I think the poor house is in for a real shock!

I figured I might as well get the higher end sub while I can afford it, so I don't have to upgrade again at a later date.

Anyone want to buy a lightly used Velodyne DLS-3750R?

that's easy, plug 2 ports. that's less headroom already and then you have a lower tuning.

But if I do that, then won't I have less output at the higher (25-35 Hz.) range?

Yes. But you won't need the output in that size room. You'll end up with the volume turned about 1/3 of the way up.

I'll have to mess around with the tuning once I get it in. I'm soo excited, I can't wait to get my new sub.

I've got a 25-31PCi in a 3000^ft room. It shakes everything not nailed down or caulked tight! You will definately be able to plug a port and get some lower tuning if you want, as you won't need nearly the volume that PC+ will put out! You're about to enter a whole new game.....called "Name That Vibration" ( AKA "What the hell is vibrating in here now??!!") Enjoy! :D

So if I plug a port, all the bass frequencies will still sound the same as it does if no port is plugged, it just gows lower and deeper right?

Also, should I use a Y adapter to run signal into both inputs, or just use one of them? What does SVS reccomend?

PDF from SVS on tuning: Here. Manual here. It is one hell of a sub IMO, a friend of mine has one.

Well I just got it in and put in it's place... I did it on my lunch so I didn't have much time to calibrate it, but all I can say is WOW it's huge. I can't believe the output this thing has, and how good it sounds, it's upstairs and it's shaking the floor... I love it!

Dang. I've been waiting three weeks since I placed my order and I'm still waiting. Welcome to Canada, I guess.
