Hi all,
I'm new here (to the forum), and i'm just starting to get into all the Audio/Visual stuff over the past year or so, so i ask you excuse my ignorance, or simple questions
Question: At the moment, seeing as i'm slowly upgrading, i still have 2 sets of Bose Acoustimass 3, Series IV speakers (i know they're not the best
) which i would like to use for the Surround speakers (i have other speakers for the Surround Back already). The Z9 only allows for one set of Surround speakers to be hooked up.
Is it alright to just twist the four sets of cables into two sets of cables, and power the 2xBose Sets, from the one Left and Right Surround output? or will there be problems in any way. Basically i want to hook up two sets of speakers to the one output so i get the same sound out of the two speaker systems.
From what i have heard the Z9 should be able to power anything without a sweat (or anything i throw at it) but is there something more behind the scenes that i do not know, and that is the reason why i shouldn't do this?
thanks
(i attatched a pic to show my current setup with the speakers in question highlighted, any comments, questions or corrections, please let me know!)
