I went to the dolby digital website about a week or two ago to learn more about their new HD audio formats. As I was perusing the site, I got a pop up saying I could earn a free $75 amazon.com gift certificate, all I had to do was provide them with my contact info and my level of expertise with audio. So I did that and two days later they called me and asked me a few questions then told me they wanted to do the interview and ask me questions all about my experiences. So I just got done with the interview, it was done my an independent research company by a lady on speakerphone asking the questions and another person taking notes. It lasted about 45 mins., and was pretty cool overall. Now I'm just waiting on my amazon.com code so I can get my gift credit, which I'm gonna use to get a wireless xbox 360 headset when they come out.
Just thought I'd give everyone here a heads up to go to the dolby digital website and try to get in on this great deal. The lady was very nice and they didn't try to sell you anything, just wanted to know about your setup, and where you learn about stuff, and how you got into it, stuff like that.
