System is far too vague, 5ch 7ch, 5.x xch etc. If using for home theater primarily, you want speakers that have a higher sensitivity for more dynamic headroom. If you're just looking for surround sound, those parameters may not matter. Define your space, your goals, and what you currently are using..

I believe you are referring to what's called HTIB (Home Theatre In a Box)
That's not the kind of product respected or discussed here....usually.

Would you like to clarify it? Again, room size, equipment needed; electronics, speakers, subs, etc..(you've already established a budget) and what are you currently using? Providing as much information will allow members to correct address your needs/wants.

Yeah sure. I was actually trying to research a sound system that my friend wanted to sell...I was trying to get to 25 posts and eventually post the system in the classifieds forum...but that plan kinda back fired when someone pointed out that the system is a knock off and isn't worth all that much. I thought it was a fair question, but it was a little vague, that's fair. BTW- I don't have a "sound system," I have a 65 inch screen tv and a soundbar below.
