I just bought a TH58PZ700U and got a pretty good deal but my question is, i have an older home with plaster walls designed pretty wierd too, the outside walls have 1" thick pieces of wood nailed to them and then a sheet of drywall and then a half inch to five eights inch of plaster on top of that. So i really don't have studs to mount my tv mount into does anyone have suggestions??

I have a Avia calibration dvd that i used on my RPTV will i be able to use that on my new plasma tv? also is having the tv professionally calibrated worth it.

I'll second the Tap-Con fastener suggestion for anchoring to cinder blocks or brick.

The Avia disc will do fine. There is an Avia II available now.

Profesional (ISF) calibration won't produce great PQ improvements in the Panasonics according to some info I got in this thread I posted when I got mine.

The guys who replied in that thread (Annunaki and bandphan) are what I respectfully refer to as 'Brainiacs' when it comes to this kind of stuff. I hold their advice in the highest regard.

If you look at my profile for threads started, you can find a thread regarding wall mounts where another 'Brainiac' :) (BMXTRIX) helped me find a great wall mount for a great price.

Congratulations on the Panasonic. :)

That is some stand alright. That is some price too. Nobody said this was gonna be cheap though. My route cost around $75. :) I wouldn't hesitate to go for the stand if I had a bigger room and could afford to give up the space.
