Just bought a pair of Cerwin Vega DX-7 floorstanding speakers

Any thoughts on these? I'm sure they're pretty mean, but I would love to hear your comments if you know anything about them.

I can't say I know much about this model in particular. Cerwin Vega is a staple for the party though. They are loud, efficient, and will have plenty of thump without sounding like they're lying face down. Needless to say, they'll be fun.

I have a pair of DX-9's and D-9's. The DX-7's sound great just a smaller woofer. But you must use a quality amp. Nevermind the vinyl veneer. They sound "live" like a speaker should. They don't have snob appeal, but you didn't buy them to impress anyone, did you?

I have the AT-15 that were 400 watt each.(my son has them now) These are like the 12" models, no red ring but as I remember they were Rock and Roll speakers. Find a good amp is good advice, they work much better with some good clan power.
