So I just moved into a new home with a 20' x 35' x 10' media room. I have a CS Ultra that was being run by an Outlaw Audio M2200 amp, which was great in a bedroom, not so much of a hump from the sub anymore

. So I got the itch and said this just wont do ad endd up picking up a QSC RMX1450, which will bridge 4ohms at 1400 watts

! So I moved the M2200 and hooked that up to my center channel, which has added some clarity and definatly better performance at low sound volumes. I hooked up the QSC and bam this party is rocking again! I can't believe this sub has this much headroom! So far I have tested out some music, which was great. I then popped in Live Free or Die Hard and this sub was just music to my ears. There are a few scenes, three of which are unreal for a sub. The first scene is when the hackers come looking for the kid and a nasty gun fight breaks out, second is where the kid and bruce willis are in the tunnel and a car flips over top of them, I got my amp to actually go into safe mode on this one

. The third which is great is wen the power plant explodes from the natural gas. AWESOME! My girlfriend was laying out by the pool which is a good 15' away from the theater and said she heard every explosion. I got the "dont you think thats a little much" look.

Cheers to heavy bass ladies and gents, Im off to test another flick, not sure which to check out tho.
