Ill start by saying what i have then ill finish with a couple questions, looking for some advice as well as opinions. The room is almost sqaure slight L shape 16x18 decent size, The lower 3 feet of wall is concrete and insulated, as well as ceiling. Ok TV is a Pioneer PDP-5072 HD , My Amp is a yamaha RX-V457 , Surrounds basically Sonys . Fronts Are Cerwin Vegas RE280 (old) ,And a new Cerwin Vega CLSC 15 Sub. I just bought a Polk CS-1 and will have it this week, liked the sound better then the CS-2. Right now im looking for a set of towers leaning towards Polk rti 8s or monitor 70s (open for any other suggestions) and a amp that will work well with TV, Thats were im basically clueless HDMI, Component Video, etc etc Wich is better for video ?sound? in case anyone is wondering i hate the fireplace and probaly gonna redo it (wife likes it) so if need be i can run any kind of wiring, as well as i ran 1 inch conduit thats empty for any other wiring needs. I listen to 80s rock up to present day rock. music 70% Football 100% when on movies 20 % Thanks For any help or suggestions. Any thoughts about putting sub into wall?

Id like to sink it in the wall, Build the crap out of it with 3/4 inch plywood ,drywall insulate and just keep the front face sticking out of wall. reason im wondering is wife isnt thrilled with the size of the 2 subs on floor. the wall id like to put 1 of them in is the green wall i posted it . opinions on would this work ok ? Sound ok? If so would you keep it low or higher up? Gonna upgrade speakers this week suggestions welcome for this size room. Im gonna upgrade amp too not sure when but would like to spend say 400 on it with decent power and the right hook ups for TV , suggestions welcome as well. Thanks for any opinions

My best advice is spend more on your speakers than you think you should and keep them at ear level. Good Luck and keep us posted on your progress.
