Hey there,

I'm just a college student looking for a good pair of speakers to use in my frat house for parties. We need something that can fill a medium room with a lot of sound. Also, it would be ideal if they connected to a laptop fairly simply. We're not professional DJ's or anything, just some guys looking to get music from iTunes to speakers as easily as possible. Can anybody recommend a solid set? We're looking to keep our price in the $100-200 range. Also, what other equipment is necessary to get it from laptop to speakers? From what I've read we're going to need at least an amp. Again, we don't need anything over the top, cause we don't have too much dough to spend. Any ideas on amps?
