Saw the movie this weekend (was released in NYC 12/7, national release is 12/14) - it is an absolute MUST see! Dialogue is incredibly witty, storyline is great, acting is superb (Ellen Page, Michael Cera, JK Simmons, Alison Janney, Jason Bateman, Olivia Thirlby), and while it tackles a controversial topic (teen pregnancy/abortion/adoption) it never gets preachy or takes sides. The soundtrack is "different", but adds to the quirkiness of the movie. One of the top films I've seen all year.

I heartily agree. I had tickets to see the Toronto premiere, and it was wonderful! Ellen Page was an absolute treat -- while she scared the crap out of me in Hard Candy, she was warm and biting and hilarious in this flick. I was disappointed that Michael Cera and Jason Bateman didn't have any scenes together, only because of their involvement with "Arrested Development", but of course in this context, it wouldn't have made much sense for them to have scenes together. Not a single bad link in the cast. And the music I would ordinarily listen to, but it suited the movie perfectly. And the movie itself is very funny, and very heart-warming. Ellen and Michael have a great relationship, very funny and entertaining. I too highly recommend this flick.

Yep.... It's been in my queue for several weeks now. While it's true it's success will get it onto more screens......this movie will never get beyond anything more than a limited release.
