Do you guys use juicers? I just purchased a Breville juicer. Right now I am mainly using it to make carrot juice. But the thing sucks up raw carrots like there is no tomorrow. I've gone through a 10lb bag of carrots in just 3 juicing sessions. The carrot juice tastes great.

I've tried juicing just celeries. But the result is less than palatable. Yuck.

I've also tried juicing apples, but the resulting apple juice is a wee bit too much on the sweet side for my liking.

Do you guys have your own favorite recipes?

Nope. I eat it as is. Carrots don't have much juice. What do you do with the fiber? That is healthy too:D

Experiment:D Beets? Try some lemon drops in that apple juice.

I never really understand the concept behind a juicer. A blender essentially does the same thing, and it's a much more versatile device.

I have a hard time eating whole carrots... Bad habbits from not eating my share of vegetables when I was a little kid :p

Lemmon juice is a good idea. I'll try that.

As to "juicing" in a blender. I've tried that. Because all the pulp is in there, you have to be careful not to make your drink too thick. Sometimes when it's too thick, it really doesn't taste all that great.

I usually buy the peeled and cut mix fruits, put them together, some honey and a lil' vodka/rum (optional). Taste good.

Mix fruits can be: melon, honeydew, strawberry (any berries would work fine but blackberry gives the best scary color).

Have you tried avocado juice with a tint of choco milk? Put some ice in it.
