I downloaded this one because it sounded like a pretty interesting game from That Game Company, makers of flOw, which was excellent. Only played it for a little bit, but it is quite fun and sort of a bit deceptively simple. You wander around a desert and explore to find energy and "power" upgrades (giving you more stored energy). You are able to jump when you have energy. The more energy, the higher the jump, during which you can also glide as well as "boost" using additional stored energy to extend or lift you again. Jumping and gliding allow you to access new areas that eventually lead to "markers" that give you some insight into the back story. This is essential as the game just starts with you in the middle of the desert and explains nothing.

Controls are simple: tilt the controller to adjust the camera (or right stick), and two action buttons so far. Though there isn't a whole lot to see so far, the visuals are very crisp and clean, though there were a few errors/artifacts I encountered in the first level. The goal is clear, there's a mountain with light coming from it and that is apparently where you are headed, and there are ruins of a civilization, so something happened. There's nothing to fight, and that might be difficult anyway, as you have no arms :), so no sense of urgency or need to locate weapons or armor. It seems it is really about exploring the world and uncovering the story. As I play further I will comment more.

Finished it last night, so it is sort of SUPER short, maybe 4hrs. Would have liked it to be longer for $15, but it has some replay value in that there's a LOT to explore. Long or short, I wanted to support companies like this which is why I purchased it though, so we can continue to have small companies come out with unique and fun content like this.
