JL Audio W6 12" box plans (for a car)?

I know this is a DIY forum for home audio, but since car audio subs are used often I figured I'd ask here anyways...

My friend is building a box for a JL Audio W6v2 12". JL has some box plans they include in the box of the subwoofer, but does anyone have any specific recommendations? He's going for output, and wants to do a ported box. He's willing to make it fairly big, since it's going in a large vehicle.

Any links or suggestions? I obviously know this is a home audio site, but the car audio forums are kinda flakey so I figured I'd ask here. ;)

If he's wanting output, tune it to 33hz. I'd shoot for about 3 cubes if he has the room.

If this is a trunk car, I'd recommending going with a sealed box, though. Cabin gain is going to kill your overall response in terms of keeping things on an even keel.

IMO, the ideal setup would be 2 cubes, sealed.
