Anyone heard it yet? :) Hope Audioholics gets to review one. I'm interested in the 10" in gloss.

Home Audio - Powered Subwoofers - E-Sub

Why? Because I like subwoofers, and want a pretty one for the living room that's still made in America. (Bag End and Danley are made here, but, not so pretty.. JL is just north of me, wonder if they demo).

If you value looks and were its made over performance than the JL is probably the one you want. I wouldn't worry about a review of it since your wanting a pretty subwoofer. If it was my money I would get the SVS SB13 Ultra, piano gloss, DSP amp with hand made drivers in Ohio. The Danley may not be pretty but they would destroy the JL for sure. A sealed 10" would be nice for a small room but not that great for a theater setup in a decent sized room.

That driver looks sweet and I like how they attached the driver to the front baffle (or at least it looks like they did). Some nice chamfered edges and I think it's a cool little sub. Worth $2000? I'm not so sure, but I doubt it would be terrible all the same.

You really want made in America, I would contact Acoustic Elegance about their A/V woofers and their P-series cabinets. They've documented many of the American companies they use to help build their subs and make a tremendous product. Could be an interesting 2nd option.

Cool to know there are more made in USA options. Yeah, that bit is important to me I guess. I know some of the driver 'parts' might not be, but, its different than getting a speaker drop shipped from another country. I mean, not against trade, but, right now we need to spend on our own soil.

I'll check the other companies out. Yeah, I mean, pretty is nice. I already have ugly covered haha.

Mostly, this just looks like a really well thought out design.

Heh, well, I'm not in a rush. Maybe I'll see if there is a place to check one out. Maybe factory, its only 15min. from me. Otherwise bet they have a retailer somewhere down here.

They did indeed. I have an E112 sitting here for review, and the driver is part of the front baffle (which is aluminum). Pretty neat setup actually.

Interesting design of the woofer. Would need to see it first hand to appreciate but pictures make for an intriguing view. The dual spider concept is not a new one but one mounted so close to the cone is rather interesting.
