Seriously....this movie cracked me up!! It waaaay exceeded my expectations.

JCVD has obviously been in decline for years, and he made this movie as sort of a spoof on himself. In the starring role... He plays himself as a washed up action hero trying to get by when he is is taken prisoner in a hostage situation during a bank robbery.

IMO.....this is his best movie since "TimeCop". yea...I know that isn't saying much. I'm just saying this was a very entertaining movie.

...and yes, I do recommend it.

I gave it 4 stars....yikes!! Tis true...that's how I rated it after watching it via netflix.

The movie really was completely enjoyable. They pulled it all together somehow to show who he is and to deliver a story. Both aspects of the film were very revealing in a 'getting to know the characters' sort of way.

Yup 4/5 stars and highly recommended. Now somebody else watch it, okay?
