Need help choosing, Dont worry about the price difference i get them at close enough to the same.

JBL Set in mind (L890 x 2, L820 x 4, LC2 x 1, L8400P x 1)

Klipsch Set (RF82 x 2, RS42 x 4, RC52 x 1, RW-12d x 1)

I was looking at recievers, but was told to pick speakers first. I listen to 70% music, 30% HD MOVIES, Will change to more like 50/50 when surround sound is done. I like stuff very loud on music and detailed when im watching movies. I am a big fan of bass hows the front fire vs down fire. Any thoughts or opinions on which set you think is the best

I have the JBL L890 speakers. I do not have the LC2, but I have the LC1. For surrounds, I have some inexpensive Polk speakers.
I love the JBL L890 speakers. I am completely satisfied with them. To me, the sound was very clear and the bass was very good. For a couple of months, I ran the L890s by themselves for movies. They reproduced the sound in all ranges very well. I never had a problem hearing voices even when loud sound effects where going off.
I compared the L890 in the store to a few other brands that were in the same price range and I did not find any that I like as much. I have not heard the Klipsch and I can not comment on if the Klipsch sound good or not.
One thing is that the LC1 was bigger than I expected. I have very little experience with HT speakers and this may be a normal size. It sounds good, and the sound seems to blend very well with the L890. To me, the LC2 looks enormous, but if you have room, I would think it is a good way to go.

And they seem to go as loud as I can take. They do not seem to distort at high volumes either. It was one of the things I noticed about these speakers compared to the cheaper speakers I had when in college. I actually enjoy listening to these at a higher volume because the sound is so much cleaner.
