jbl subwoffer

just got a jbl es250p, 400 700watt peak powered home subwoffer, i noticed plus the lfe, it has banana input's rated at 150 watt's, i normally use lfe, has anyone gotten better results switching to normal, and using the receiver to these inlets?

Don't use the bananas. Use the LFE. Looking at the manual, it doesn't show those inputs. Not sure why, but just skip the high-power inputs. Stick with the LFE.

Nobody that I know of does this. But, if you have an equalizer designed specifically for low-frequency usage, then it may be fine. Not sure what proper equipment you are using to tune the room.

my equlizer, is a yamaha eq-500?- should i remove it from system? howevr everything sounds great, in analog, my subwoffer's seem to perform well
