JBL Northridge E80 Floorstanders

Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with them.

I have listened to them, some infinitys, polks, .. anyways I liked the sound of the E80's the most. They seem like they fit my needs as I am running two subs and I found that the E80's have very clear mids and highs.

Thought I would throw this out here before the return policy expires.

Cheers

I like them for a good low/mid priced floorstander.

Hi,

I do have the Northridges as well (ND -310 fronts) and they sound pretty good to my ears, mainly basswise.
I believe the JBL's have an excellent cost/benefit relationship.

They are nice speakers. I currently have e60s from JBL and like them a lot. However, the day I got my new Klipsch bookshelves I put them on top to compare the two (silly to do on the first day, I know, because they are just now sounding good 5 months later). Anyways, the Klipsch seem to have better highs and a wider sound stage. Personally, I would loook at the Klipsch Synergy series floor standers, especially if you want to play loud. My bookshelf Klipsch will KILL the JLBs in when it comes to turning them up. However... im beginging to wonder if something is wrong or set-up wrong on my Yamaha receiver... okay sorry for the long response. I think you will be happy with either though!

If you look at Klipsch, make sure you look at the RB's (reference) versus the SB's (synergy). The reference speakers are a FAR cry better than the synergy's. I think you can do a lot better than those.
