Hello,
I just found an ad in my local Pennysaver for a pair of JBL L110's in good condition, thay's what the ad says, and the guy is asking $150 the pair. It's only about a twenty minute drive to check these out, is it even worth the time and energy to check these out? I believe these were made in the late seventies and early eighties. I don't if he is original owner or what if any restoration he may have done. I would like to take a stab at some vintage speaker restoration, but am I getting in over my head? I would really like some opinions here as I don't know how long these will be available. Also in their time were they a well regarded speaker? Thanks guys for the time, I look forward to any and all replies.
Regards, Jeff

A HS buddy had a pair of those and all I can remember is that they were able to crank loudly without strain and sounded quite nice. I'd say check them out and see what your dealing with. It can't hurt.
