Hi,
I recently purchased a JBL Cinema 300BD which I am very pleased with. Last weekend I decided to connect this unit to my WIFI so I installed the included WIFI dongle and went through the settings to have the theater look for the wifi with no luck. So, I take the dongle out and put in my laptop and it does nothing there either. Which is when I realized that the dongle came with a mini cd which I placed in the laptop and it installed drivers for the dongle and then the computer hooked up to the wifi with no problem. My question is: How do I get the driver to load on the JBL Cinema? I installed the mini cd in the carrier and closed it and it recognized the source however, could not get to the files as only the three resident folders showed up. I was reading through the manual (which is not very thorough with regard to this) and it talks about updating the firmware using the "settings" menu, is it possible that this is where I need to go to install the drivers as well?? Yes, I can run an ethernet cable, but now it's the principle of the thing...I got it to work in the computer now I want it to work with the Home Theater. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.
