Sounds pretty good, I like the their ability to work even when the ANR is off.
Now the question of the day how do they compare Bose headphones on the ANR end? And soundquality?
I own a QC2 from Bose that I only use on the airplane. I carry with me a set of Shure earbuds for hotel use because the Bose only work with the ANR on (which gives me a slight headache when not in an aircraft), and the Shures sound much better then the Bose.
