How do you feel about these people being forced to drive 300+ miles to the USA for healthcare needs?? They have tax payer funded Commie Care at their disposal in Calgary, right? Delivering quad-preemies has got to cost a fortune, so why would they choose to pay out of pocket in the USA?

Surely, Calgary's castro hospital could have found space for a mother delivering quads, right?

The reason behind Canada's Castro-Care is so that everyone has coverage, but as it is with any leftist program........ more do without as a result.

Canadian case in point.... people will drive 300+ miles and pay out of pocket to get away from it. If they were poor, they'd be stuck in calgary giving birth in an alley behind the hospital due to the fact that all the hospitals are overcrowded and beyond capacity

Lucky for them, they aren't poor, so they had better options than Castro Care.

The "care" which you use in your research is evidenced by your perpetual innaccuracies and typos (your title incorporates "Itentical"...what is that?).

The soapbox on which you so proudly stand can easily slide out from under you given your adamant refusal to correct your various innaccuracies and the ease with which you slight others.

It does not bother you that you offend a good deal of people in Canada when you call them "Communist" and then poke fun at the healthcare system upon which many rely for help?

If you have an interesting story great. I propose you curtail the slander lest you have some insightful help/alternatives. I don't know, but I would think the average joe blow reads your spin and then cringes. Critical thinking at its' finest.

I just read the whole thing, I don't think there was hate mongering and why would Canadians get offended? Hey! let's ask a Sheep that we all know! The Canadians that I've met throughout the years fly to NY to get their important medical issues resolved. My friend David's dad (Canadians) diagnosed with prostate cancer was put on a waiting list because the doctors deemed his life wasn't in immanent danger, David got so angry he paid out of his savings to have his dad flown and treated at Sloan-Kettering in New York, the doctors in New York told Dave that if his dad would have waited any longer the cancer was at the point of metastasizing (really bad.)

So free or cheap, I wouldn't want that kind of treatment.

It's cause you put everyone on the offensive. Just post your opinions without the labels - it will go farther. And there is difference between communism and socialism, though one leads to the other eventually if unchecked.

Your posts don't ask for debate or discussion, they ask for you to be agreed with. And that's only "fun" for some of the members here.

Oh man... Our health care system isn't free. We just get a chunk covered, depending on what health care plan you have.

Also, our Hospitals can't accommodate the growing number of patients. We're not turning them away or putting them on waiting lists for the hell of it, there is literally NO room, and only IMMEDIATE life threatening cases go in right away.

A friend of my recently fell at work and a steel pin used to hold forms together struck his neck and left a big gash. It also struck his jaw. He was taken to emergency and given a cat scan and came back THAT day with a needle in the butt and a neck brace.

Seems like people do get through..
