After owning this receiver for 13+ years finally got all speakers hooked up. Not the best choice for music. Couldn’t find many recorded in surround. This was only 5.1 but definitely wakes up the room.

Glad it is working for you. Your receiver should have a stereo mode. That will probably work better for music listening.
