The Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) has released some free 4K test patterns for B&W levels and geometry/resolution. This is just in time to meet up with the new 4K displays hitting the market (in volume) this year. ISF calibrators found that they needed these patterns for CES product evaluations, and, since they didn't see a large market developing in which to sell them anytime soon, they decided to gift them out to their certified calibrators.

I got a 39" 4K Seiki for work.
I heard a rumor that some of the Seiki's had 4K panels, but not all the electronics.
I could not find a free 4K test pattern.
So I made a simple one that I thought should show any issues in case it was not providing the full resolution.
It has 4 quadrants, 2 vertical and 2 horizontal patterns. One is every other line and the other is every third.
I've attached it for your enjoyment. If anyone has suggestions for any minor improvements, I'd be happy to entertain them.
