I am having my New KDS-R60XBR1 television ISF'd on Saturday, I was wondering what the process requires so I know what to look for while the calibrator is working and to make sure nothing is skipped over.

Also will the calibration be a noticeable improvement or just a slight improvement? I've never seen a TV that's been Calibrated by a Certified ISF Technician.

So I am guessing no one has had their TV or projector ISF'd on this forum

Too late but you should see a great improvement in the set, especially since most don't come well calibrated to the standard from the factory.

A good ISF tech will go over every aspect, geometric alignment, focusing, color, black level, and a bunch more.
The TV may seem darker but they were not meant to be watched in lots of light in the first place, at least not by NTSC standards.

I've only seen one set that was ISF calibrated. It was the absolute best looking CRT RPTV picture quality I've ever seen. Still not as good as a direct view tube though.
