to replace my toshiba 32" that works fine and is going in the dining room.
it is just for basic tv watching. i'm figurin the pq will be plenty good enough.
i am mostly worried that it is kind of an older model. and that the price may drop soon after i buy (i HATE when that happens ). it has been said that is has gone for under $500 at one time. perhaps the new models will come out soon, and this one will drop, and/or the new model will be better and cheaper = panny 3000/4000 ish.

idk, sometimes i can't make up my mind

well, wouldn't ya know it. my 32" went "pop" = dead.
checking it out, i found the "blue" rgb disconnected. how, idk. would this cause a problem ? the picture did look a little off today. it was on about 15 mins.
i took the back off and there is a black part, about the size of 2 aspirins stacked. that has burnt marks under it.

thought ?

14 months old. i started to try to use my mastercard extended warranty. one requirement is to get it estimated. so i started calling shops. from advice of a repair tech, i called toshiba. they may warranty it.
and the toshiba shop is right by my moms house = not far away :)

WISH ME LUCK !

i have since quit looking for a new set. i want to see how this pans out.
i am getting used to watching my 65" at 9' .
