Is TheaterSeatStore.com legitimate?

Obviously new to this forum. I've been searching to see if anyone has had good or bad experiences with hometheaterstore.com

The site looks legitimate, but it's hard to find an unbiased opinion.

I've personally never heard of them but that doesn't mean they don't exist or aren't legitimate . Hopefully someone will chime in for you because as you know online scams are a dime a dozen.

I'm not sure yet, but I'm suspicious about them

I ordered a set of Pallaser seats from TheaterSeatStore on 3/4/2012. I paid $4700 thru MasterCard and have not yet received the chairs. TheaterSeatStore first said they had to back order the leather that we had specified. After the leather supposedly came in, I called several times and got various excuses such as "they were held up in customs from Canada". Late in May, the local company that was to set them up called to set a delivery time. Two days later they called to say the seats hadn't come in. Most recently, 6/6/12, they said the seats were manufactured but Pallaser was waiting for a full truck before they would send them from Canada. After that, I was sufficiently upset that I suggested that they were an internet scam. They became quite defensive and told me I was bothering them too often!

I'll post more as I learn more.

Bump from the dead...

I just bought some theater seats from theaterseat.com and had pretty good luck with the experience. Weird to buy stuff without sitting in it first, but it worked out just fine and they look awesome.

I finally go my theater seats on July 3rd. I'm very happy with them!

My order was very slow for several reasons. Some of the reasons were:

1. It was a custom order.
2. They had to back-order the leather that I had specified
3. When it was completed, Palister didn't ship them from Canada to the US until they could fill a truck.
4. The shipping path was very complicated and communication between the various participants was poor.
