M&K's biggest "problem" which is also why a lot of people buy them, is their QA process. Every speaker that leaves the factory is listened to before it goes out. They could be much more profitable by testing a ratio of the speakers like most companies do. It takes a lot of time to do it the way they do it, and slows their output.
Personally, i absolutely love my M&K's. I hope they're not going out of business, and find it hard to believe, since they've just introduced a new line of subs, and recently new 750's and other popular speakers. Not to mention if they were going out of business, i'd think the online store would have some closeout sale. I saw them post on the site about a month ago that one of their sales (the valentines sale or the new years one) generated huge demand. So i'm hoping they're just moving their factory.
