I have been going back and forth with bi-amping my center speaker. It is rated at 6 ohms and 220 watts. My question is this center speakers is getting 350 WattsX2. I play my music very loud and so far nothing happened. Everything is intact. My main concern is could I be blowing 2 channels on my poweramp? Tweeters can be replaced easy that's not a concern, but the amp is. Music I play at around 115 db.

For a second I thought this thread would be about the movie "Marathon Man" from the thread title. ;)

No you should be okay, you have to rtemember that even playing pretty loud your not even coming close to using anything nearly as close as 350 watts. Your more in danger by underpowering the speakers than havinga ll the watts in the world. Your speakers can handle alot of power hence why your not having any issue playing so loud. Your fine.

It's usually distortion that blows speakers not power. I have 4 surrounds that are rated at 100w and the amp I use for them is 300w per channel and I have never had a problem.

The speakers I am not worried about it's the output boards on the Poweramp. I never drive the amp to clipping, maybe now and then. The speakers hang in there. These drivers don't even as much as flintch. If I drive them regular I don't worry only when I bi-amp I get a little uneasy thinking more of the amp blowing 2 channels.
