I have a denon x2400h but no preouts I also have a denon 3805 but no hdmi butnhas preouts can I somehow use them together to boost my front speakers yet get benefits of newer technology

Not really. You could mickey mouse a way to use the 3805 as a stereo only amp I suppose using the zone 2 preouts on the 2400 but that's not very useful nor is the 3805 all that much more powerful. But amps together at same time on same speaker, no.
