I just recently purchased a house that is prewired for 2 speakers with volume controls in all rooms. also there is ethernet connections in every room, they are plates with 4 ethernet ports. I am going around in circles wondering if it is a good idea to setup 1 main point with (cable/receiver/dvd/whatever) with rooms with tv with only one cable?......any and all help is much much appreciated in advance

on the first page of this site i read "The Yamaha RX-V2600 is a paramount achievement in terms of the receiver market. Receivers are finally starting to pay almost as much attention to the second half of “audio-video” as they previously did to the first half. For those with a single cable running to a wall-mounted plasma or LCD flat panel this might just be the most intelligent purchase you could make this year."

I would really like to know how to setup rooms with tvs tht have a single cable running to em. BMXTRIX i am trying to follow what you are saying in your responses to other threads and they are making sense.....please shed some light on my stuff too
