Is Decware good for re-foam kits?

Yeah, I am going to do it myself. I only paid $30 for the sub. Then I probably ripped the foam calibrating the sub (or it was already ripped).

So

for a $30 sub I only want to do a $40 repair. Plus I purchased a $30 subwoofer cable.

So far my bargain starter sub is looking like

$30 + $30 + $40.

I hope I am good at refoaming woofers:cool:

Do you know how to it and what you need?

According to the folks at decware everything you need is in the kit. Except for an exacto knife.

Thanks for the asking all the questions. You made you look at new solutions and I found a local repair shop

http://www.winstonorgan.com/

That will do the repair for $30
I was not trying to put you off doing the job, it can be done by anyone with reasonable dexterity. There are a few pitfalls, and I was just trying to see if you needed any tips or guidance.

However you seem to have the problem solved as long as your tech is competent.

We did have a post here not long ago were the tech was clearly not competent as he refoamed to speakers for a member and both speakers then had gap rub, because he never used shims.
