Is a $299 PS3 a no brainer?

Just putting this out there in hopes to possibly save some people some money like I did after reading it on this site.

This puts a very very good blu ray player at less than $300.

Just goto sonystyle.com and to get the extra $100 off you have to apply for and qualify for their credit card, but for $100 off it's well worth it to me. I'll just cancel once I get the credit on the account. Plus they have free shipping Tuesday-Thursday. I used the extra $100 to get some blu ray movies. I believe today may be the last day for the extra 5 blu ray's with the purchase that you have to send in for, but they may not even be worth it to many people anyways. Only 2 I want out of all the choices.

I picked up Stargate Extended Cut, 5th Element, and the first 4 Harry Potters. Now if only I could get the Lord of the Rings Trilogy...

I just picked up a $299 open-box PS3 40GB Spiderman3 bundle today. I've already printed out the 5 free blu-ray movie offer and will be mailing it away this afternoon

After buying the Toshiba HD-A30 and subsequently returning it in under a week, I feel pretty good about the deal I got on the PS3.
