Last evening I received a phone call informing me that Bud has passed away. Bud spent most of his adult life in audio, and in his later years produced some of the best loudspeakers irregardless of price. To many he is known as one of the founding fathers of the transmission line speakers. He was also a voice of common sense in consumer audio. I will miss him, and consider myself fortunate that 2 pieces of his legacy, with a set of back up drivers, are being gratefully used in my lab.

Wow ... Worthy enough Words are not available now.... His designs were the stuff of dreams 30 years ago. Truly a loss ... :(

Fried

I had a pair of Fried Speakers in the early 90's.
They were the A/3 a two way speaker.
The MSRP was $650.00 a pair.
Don't let the price fool you, they were very good speakers.
We've lost a true audio voice!

Imf

The most impressive speakers were the IMF studio monitor 3's, fantastic for their size!
